Eternal candle is an Iranian metal band from Tehran formed in September 2012 by Mahdi V. (Guitar, clean vocal) and Anushiravan N. (Brutal Vocal) to combine their inner thoughts and feelings with metal music.
After a while that band formed Shahab (Bass), Nima A. (Guitar) and Aria (Drums) joined to complete the lineup which led to band's first songs "The Silent Forest" and "Blossom of the old scars" which gathered many positive feedbacks from audiences.
But unfortunately this lineup didn't last long and they left the band because of their personal reasons. After that band continued with a completely new lineup. In March 2013, Josef Habibi (Drums) and shortly after that Mehran Mirmiri (Guitar) and Armin A. (Bass) joined the band, then band released a cover of "Autumn Reflection" by Novembers doom which became a turning point when Novembers doom shared that cover song in their official page, afterwards band concentrated on writing and recording of their new material for their debut album. In the between hold 3 underground concert in Tehran but with a new permanent guitarist, Mani Pourmoghaddam who was replaced with Mehran Mirmiri in 2015.
Recently mixing and mastering of their debut album is done and they are looking for an international label to release the album.
Their music atmosphere is the reflection of despondency that progressively passes through the meandrous ways of relentless life.
